Cambodia Cooking Class in Sihanoukville, A thousand years ago the Khmer Kingdom, which centred on Angkor, ruled an empire that included most of south–east Asia. Many of the Thai and other regional dishes have their roots in Khmer cooking from that time! While there’re similarities, Cambodian cuisine should be taken in its own right. Khmer recipes go back to the days before the introduction of the chilli, so are consequently much milder than most Asian food.

The Traditional Khmer Cookery School conducts regularly scheduled cooking classes, introducing traditional Khmer recipes, ingredients and cooking techniques. Learn how to make amok (coconut curry,) banana flower salad, pumpkin custard and other Khmer dishes. One-day,  courses available. Vegetarian recipes available and special requests are welcome, after cooking you will enjoy testing yourself with beer and soft drinks are included.
